You haven’t heard? Indie 103.1 has sadly gone off the airwaves and is being forced to live exclusively online. I say “sadly” because its nice to be able to drive in LA rush hour traffic and have the option to flip on the fm radio and hear cool new cutting edge music… at the same time, i’m excited for their new ventures online. Like so many cool independent cutting edge artists these days (wink wink) fighting the uphill battle against 21’st Century Best Buy Corporate America, we’re being forced to become internet cave dwellers plugged in to our laptops and feeding our art to the world. Someone behind a desk looking at “numbers” told Indie 103.1 that they needed to start playing britney spears and 103.1 said up yours! Its nice to see a radio station with that type of success stay true to their art! Tune in here…
